2020 SCBA Bee School Registration
Saturday, February 8th 2020 from 9:30am to 4:30pm
Have you thought about raising honey bees but don’t know how to begin?
The Stark County Beekeepers beginning bee school will get you started! Speakers will cover bee biology, basic equipment, hive location, opening the hive and giving bees a good start. In case of inclement weather, the snow date will be February 15.

9:45 – 10:30 Bee Biology, Jason Draper
10:30 – 11:15 Basic Equipment Needs, Laurene Kiel
11:15 – 11:30 Break, Bee stations open
11:30 – 12:15 Hive Locations, Carol Kralik
12:15 – 1:00 Giving Bees a Good Start, Rick Blessing
1:00 – 2:15 Lunch Break, Bee stations open,
2:15 – 2:45 Opening the Hive, Ryan Ferreri
2:45 – 3:15 Conclusion, Jason Draper
3:15 – 4:30 Bee stations open; Club membership table open
