2025 Bee School registration is open!
The Stark County Beekeepers Association Presents its 2025 Bee School
The Stark County Beekeepers Association's Bee School is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025. This year’s class, at Stark Parks Exploration Gateway, will give you the information to start beekeeping with confidence.
Topics include bee biology, equipment needed for raising bees, what to do when your bees finally arrive and how to track their progress in their new home. The course fee includes support materials and a beginning beekeeping book by Keith Delaplane, a globally recognized honey bee authority. Morning snacks and lunch will be provided.
Local beekeepers and vendors will be available to answer questions and to help you make your first beekeeping purchases.
