Starting Right With Honey Bees Seminar

Learn to operate and manage your own hives! The Stark County Beekeepers' Association presents "Starting Right With Bees," our fourteenth annual seminar for beginning beekeepers. The one-day seminar is March 26, 2011 at the Stark County District Library Main Branch, 715 Market Avenue North, Canton OH.

About the Seminar

Instructors are experienced beekeepers affiliated with the Stark County Beekeepers' Association. Class topics will cover basic equipment, setting up the apiary, obtaining bees, managing the hives, diseases and pests of bees, and more. A fee of $35.00 per registrant (or $45.00 for a family, all residing at the same address) includes the book Starting Right With Bees, 1 year membership in the Stark County Beekeepers' Association, hand-outs, refreshments, and lunch.

Walk-ins are welcome -- $5.00 additional fee. Certificates will be awarded upon completion of the seminar.
